Everything you need to know before your visit to Centre 360.
Experiences can be booked online through our Book a Visit page. Select your preferred date and time, enter your details, and submit your request. After booking, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your reservation. Please note that this initial email is not a booking confirmation. Once you respond and your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a second email containing your QR code and visit details.
No. Centre 360 is a free public experience. There is no admission fee to visit the cupola of the David N. Dinkins Municipal Building.
Centre 360 is open to the public from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Visits run every hour and are available by reservation.
Centre 360 is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, and for the following federal and state holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Day, Lincoln's Birthday, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Election Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

Yes, a reservation is required to access Centre 360. Visit the Book a Visit page to make your reservation. A maximum of five tickets per email address per week is authorized. At least one member of the party must be 18 years of age or older with valid photo identification at the time of the visit.
There is no fee to visit Centre 360.
A maximum of five individuals are permitted per Centre 360 reservation. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult during their visit and must be at least 42 inches (1.1 meters) tall. Children cannot be carried and must always be accompanied by an adult.
All members of the public are welcome to the Centre 360 experience. However, visitors should be aware of general site conditions:
- Open air and exposed to weather conditions
- Elevation changes of approximately 500 feet (150 meters)
- Confined spaces
- Significant heights
- One 6-inch step requiring independent ascent and descent
- Standing for up to one hour
No, walk-ins are not accepted. Same-day reservations are permitted. If you arrive without a reservation, you must book a reservation before the tour start time.
A 10-minute grace period is offered. After 10 minutes, your reservation will be cancelled. You can make a new reservation for a different time if space is available. If you are unable to attend your timeslot, please cancel in advance to allow others to enjoy the experience.
The Centre 360 experience starts at the CityStore in the David N. Dinkins Municipal Building located at 1 Centre Street (enter on Centre Street), New York, NY 10007. Centre 360 is accessible via subway from the 4, 5, 6, J, M to Brooklyn Bridge station, R to City Hall station, or the 1, 2, 3, A, C to Chambers Street station.
The experience lasts about an hour. Visitors are escorted to the cupola and can view a 360-degree panorama of Lower Manhattan for approximately 15-20 minutes.
Visitors should dress for current weather conditions in Lower Manhattan. Viewing is in an open space subject to wind, rain, and other elements. Visitors should expect to be on their feet for up to one hour, so comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended.
The experience is not a guided tour and does not include a tour guide. However, visitors are escorted to and from the experience by a DCAS employee, and informational materials are provided.
Centre 360 is a weather-permitting experience in open space subject to wind, rain, and other elements. We reserve the right to cancel reservations due to hazardous or emergency conditions, including extreme weather events or operational interruptions. In these cases, visitors with confirmed reservations will receive a cancellation email and should check the Centre 360 website for updates.
No, there are no storage facilities available. Visitors may bring one personal item no larger than 13" x 19" x 9". It must fit through an x-ray machine opening approximately 17" wide x 24" high.
Yes. Cameras are permitted as long as they do not cause unreasonable delays. Photography kits and production gear including tripods, unipods, camera supports, rigs, mounting systems, drones, and additional lighting are not permitted.
Centre 360-themed gifts can be purchased in person at CityStore, 1 Centre Street, North Plaza, New York, NY 10007. CityStore is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or you can visit the CityStore online.
